ELLESMERE Brownies have been upholding their promises this year despite the difficulties of 2020.
For this year the 2nd Ellesmere Brownies were set the challenge of matching last year's shoebox challenge of 55 parcels for the Oswestry Foodbank.
They have been successful in this endeavour, as Brownie leader Caroline Ford explains.
"We are once again proud to be able to think of others and uphold the Brownie Promise," said Caroline.
"Each Brownie was given a wrapped shoe box to fill and do some shopping challenges.
"Boxes were returned overflowing and together with a unit donation and a couple of donations from supporters they achieved 57 boxes breaking last years record.
"In times of financial stress and health concerns for so many of us this is truly outstanding.
"Thank you to all in ensuring no one is forgotten this Christmas"
