MORE than 65 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Wrexham and Flintshire, according to the latest public health data.

Figures released by Public Health Wales reveal that as of November 23, there were 43 new confirmed cases in Wrexham and 26 confirmed in Flintshire.

These figures take the total confirmed cases in Wrexham to 3,639 with Flintshire standing at 2,885.

Regionally, the latest figures show there were a total of 90 new cases confirmed across North Wales covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, taking the overall total up to 12,156.

Conwy saw just one new confirmed case, with five in Anglesey, 12 in Denbighshire, and three in Gwynedd.

There have been nine new suspected COVID-related deaths across Wales.

To date, the total number of people in Wales who have died after testing positive for coronavirus stands at 2,385.

So far, 893,676 people have undergone coronavirus tests in Wales.
