A POPULAR Oswestry craft group held a competition for youngsters in the recent half-term.
The Crafty Knitters organised the competition for school-age children in Oswestry, who knitted and displayed Noah's Ark in the Willow Gallery.
The animals were hidden in shops around Oswestry.
A spokesman for the group thanked all those who took part.
They said: "Many children entered the competition and enjoyed finding the animals hiding in shop windows around town.
"Crafty knitters would like to thank all the shops that took part and the Willow Gallery for exhibiting Noah's Ark.
"A special thanks to Nikki O'Dwyer, the headteacher of Our Lady and St Oswalds School, for her help coordinating the event with Crafty Knitters."
Three schools took part: Our Lady and St Oswalds, Holy Trinity School and the Meadows School.
Each of the six winners received a 10 pound cash prize and certificate.
