A WOMAN has died after a fatal traffic collision near Llanymynech.

The collision occurred on Friday afternoon and police are appealing for information from anyone who might have witnessed the collision.

A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating a road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 3.30pm, Friday, November 6, on the B4398 road, at Carreghofa, south of Llanymynech village.

"A BMW X1 and a pedestrian were involved in the collision. Sadly the pedestrian, a 63-year-old female, died at the scene.
