The committee of a community trust which oversees and looks after an open space in Oswestry have announced they have had to postpone its annual general meeting (AGM) for 2020.
Plas Ffynnon Millennium Green Trust and Plas Ffynnon Community Field Trust look after the popular open space behind Salop Road, in Plas Ffynnon Way.
The committee members were set to hold their AGM next week, because a spokesman said that because of increased fears around Covid-19, they have decided to hold off.
They said: "Due to the current restrictions because of Covid-19, Plas Ffynnon Millennium Green Trust and Plas Ffynnon Community Field Trust have postponed the AGM due to be held this month, October 2020.
"We will monitor the situation and thank everyone for their continued support at this difficult time.
"We hope you all carry on enjoying the lovely public open space at Plas Ffynnon.
"Please stay safe everyone."
The spokesman added that The Green is open for everyone to use safely.
