Good-minded citizens are being sought to donate blood at a rural village hall, with low numbers causing concern.
There will be an appointment-only session of blood donors at Llanfechain Memorial Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the first running from 12.30-3.30pm and a second session from 5-7.30pm.
On Wednesday the times are 12-3pm and 4-7pm.
A spokesman said: "The safety of our donors and blood supply is paramount.
"If you have not already done so, it is important that you check your eligibility to donate. We ask that you re-check a couple of days prior to donation as circumstances can change."
Only around a third of bookings for the Wednesday session are taken, with the Welsh Blood Service Collection Teams keen to see more people coming forward.
There are a few spaces left for Tuesday's session.
To book into Llanfechain, then head to https://donorportal.wales.nhs.uk/AppointmentSystem and search for Llanfechain and book onto the relevant date.
You will also be able to discover other sessions.
