ONE of the most popular antiques shows on television, Bargain Hunt, will be filmed in Oswestry next weekend, it has been confirmed.
The popular BBC One show will be filmed at the Oswestry Antique and Collectors Fair at Oswestry Showground on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20.
It had been uncertain whether filming would go ahead because of the situation surrounding Covid-19; however event organisers, JOS Events, confirmed on Facebook it would take place.
Covid-19 guidelines will be in place at the site with hand sanitiser stations set up around the showground.
There will be 2,000 masks and 60 visors available, with each trader being provided with masks, anti-bacterial wipes and hand sanitiser.
Masks or visors will be compulsory when indoors and one-way systems will be put in place.
