FIREFIGHTERS are in attendance at a large fire involving an agricultural barn in Oswestry.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 6.48pm with reports of a barn fire in Aston Square, Middleton.
Six fire engines including a water carrier from Baschurch, Bridgnorth, Wem, Ellesmere, Wellington and Shrewsbury were in attendance.
The crews were also assisted by firefighters from Chirk.
Operations and safety officers were also in attendance.
Firefighters used one hosereel jet and two main jets and continued to dampen the area down.
Crews spent more than 12 hours at the scene.
