A SHROPSHIRE Council-owned housing developer is consulting with residents of Ellesmere over the proposed construction of a new development in the town.

Cornovii Developments Limited, who are wholly owned by Shropshire Council, is consulting with neighbours on a residential development at Ellesmere Wharf, which it intends to submit to full planning application in October.

The proposed development will provide 23 homes with a mix of two, three and four bedroom houses and one and two bedroom bungalows.

The site, adjacent to the Canal Wharf, will be regenerated from redundant waste land and the developers say 'provide a much-needed mix of homes.'

Residents and neighbours can find out more and share their views by visiting www.cornoviidevelopments.co.uk or by visiting the noticeboard outside Ellesmere Town Hall where details of the proposed development will be on display between September 8 and September 23.
