BEN Cabango completed his rise from the JD Cymru Premier to full Welsh international last night.

The 20 year old Swansea City defender joined Liverpool's Neco Williams and Manchester United's Dylan Levitt in making their Wales debut's in a 1-0 win in Finland.

A goal from Kieffer Moore ensured a dream start to Wales' Nations League campaign ahead of the weekend clash with Bulgaria.

Cabango spent half a season on loan with JD Cymru side TNS in 2018 and revealed the spell in Oswestry had been pivotal in his development.

"The TNS loan move really helped me mature as a person and as a player on the pitch," said Cabango.

"I didn't really know about the club but there was pressure there to win the league, and I thought playing against men would be the best way to evolve my game.

"As soon as that six-month loan ended I came to back to Swansea and I was a better player. The gaffer Steve Cooper saw that in me straight away and gave me that opportunity. I took it and I've been working hard since then."

Cabango has been linked with a move to FA Premier League side Leeds United.
