The chain which owns a pub near a beauty spot in Chirk is looking for a new landlord to take over.

The Bridge Inn, known as The Trap in Gardden View, is available for a new landlord to manage the premises and look after the beer on behalf of Admiral Taverns.

Situated near the Chirk aqueduct and viaduct, there are stunning views for pub-goers to enjoy on the outdoor decking in the summer.

As well as the outdoor beer garden area, there is also an open fireplace indoors, as well as a kitchen and room for parking.

Live music is permitted at the pub and there are three bedrooms available for the landlords.

Admiral Taverns is looking for a landlord, or landlords, who have the drive and passion to keep the pub at the heart of the community in Chirk.

A spokesman for the company said: “Located in the small village of Chirk Bank situated on the Welsh border is the detached Bridge Inn pub.

“Extremely popular all year round, but especially so in the summer months with locals and tourists who enjoy the spectacular views of the aqueduct and across the valley.

“The pub layout is open plan with a central bar servery, with a separate main bar where live entertainment is often displayed.

“The business development manager visions a local individual or couple with drive and passion to keep the Bridge at the heart of the community.”
