VOTERS are being sought for an art competition in Oswestry.

The Qube Open Art Competition is an increasingly popular event which attracts artists from across the country, with entries reflecting a theme.

Anyone is eligible to enter and works can be of any medium, 2D, 3D or digital.

A £500 cash prize will be awarded to the winning artist, decided by an independent panel of judges.

An exhibition of shortlisted entries is on display at Qube until September 21, although because of the current pandemic the opening times may be reduced.

This is the 10th year of the Qube Open and the first year to have included all the works online.

The competition is seeking the public’s votes, with the People’s Choice Prize awarded to the artist with the most public votes.

The winner will receive their own four week exhibition at Qube the following year.

Vote for your favourite entry in the gallery or online by emailing art@qube-oca.org.uk before September 21 with your name, your postcode, artist name and title of work.
