CHIRK Castle will be closed on Friday after weather forecasts predict high winds.
The National Trust site confirmed on Facebook that it would be closed because of the danger of falling branches from veteran trees at the site.
A yellow weather warning for strong winds has been put in place by the Met Office.
Anyone who has booked tickets to visit the attraction on Friday will be able to get a full refund by emailing bookingsandevents@nationaltrust.org.uk
The site is expected to be open again on Saturday.
