A SECOND-HAND furniture store which takes old goods and restores them says it is ready to receive new items following Covid-19 lockdown restrictions easing.

REVIIVE, which is based at the Mile Oak Industrial Estate, off Maesbury Road, sells on the furniture it restores as a way of raising money for housing charities in Shropshire.

It closed its doors at the start of the pandemic but now says they can begin to receive new items for repair and sale.

A spokesman said: “REVIIVE Oswestry is now able to receive donated goods.

“Please note that these must be in a good, clean condition, with no rips, stains or damage and from smoke-free households, especially sofas.

“The warehouse at the back of the building, will be open from Wednesday to Friday between 11am and 2pm.

“We apologise that the store is not open and we are not able to answer telephone calls at the moment.

“All items will be vetted by the warehouse staff – please do not be offended if you are turned away.”
