This weekend marks the first since the 'stay local' travel restrictions were lifted in Wales, meaning people can now travel to see friends and family or visit beauty spots for the first time since March.

With the forecast predicting dry and sunny spells, it's a great opportunity to stretch your legs and get some fresh air.

The options for where to go are pretty endless but if you still want to stay relatively local, you can't go wrong with one of the region's aqueduct sites, in Pontcysyllte and Chirk.

Stunning feats of engineering, seemingly defying gravity, and set in beautiful locations with plenty of space for keeping socially distant, ideal for a picnic too.
