RESIDENTS in Oswestry will be able to ask virtual questions of the new mayor, Councillor Duncan Kerr.

Cllr Kerr, who replaced Cllr John Price last month, will be holding the first of his monthly public zoom meetings on Monday, July 6 for an hour from 10.30am.

He says he is looking forward to taking questions from the public.

"As life starts to return to Oswestry there will be many problems to overcome and concerns that residents will have," said Cllr Kerr.

"The council wants to hear from its citizens about how life can be improved in the town so we can take action to re-assure and help our communities.

"Whoever you are, if you live in, or visit our town and want to have a chat about something with the mayor then please join this public zoom meeting.

"They are always held on the first Monday of each month at these times."

Details of how to join this online meeting can be obtained by emailing sandratrevor@oswestry-tc.gov.uk or phoning 01691 680222.
