FIREFIGHTERS from Oswestry are working with a farmer in Gobowen to rescue a cow from a muddy ditch.
Two crews from Oswestry and third from Wellington were called to Iron Mills in the village at around 4.05pm on Friday after reports of the cow in trouble.
The firefighters are still on the scene in Gobowen and are liaising with the farmer on how best to rescue the animal.
