FOUR more COVID-19 deaths have been confirmed at the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH).
Hospital bosses confirmed the latest deaths on Friday, taking the total number of patients to die from COVID-19 at the Trust to 133.
A spokesman offered condolences to the families and friends of those patients.
They said: “SaTH is currently treating patients who have tested positive for COVID-19.
“Sadly we can confirm that 133 patients being cared for at our hospitals, and who had tested positive for COVID-19, have died. Four deaths have been announced today.
“Our thoughts and condolences are with the families and friends of those patients at this very difficult and distressing time.”
