An OSWESTRY-BASED rural estate agency has appointed a new land agent.

Davis Meade Property Consultants (DMPC), in Beatrice Street, has appointed land agent Edward Page to advise their rural property holding clients across Powys, South Wales, Herefordshire, among other counties.

Edward started his career working for a firm of agricultural surveyors in the Welsh borders advising and representing tenant farmers across a broad range of rural matters.

His experience latterly covered estate management work with agents Knight Frank.

He joined DMPC from the National Trust where, as portfolio estate manager, he specialised in conservation and environmental land management.

“We are very pleased to offer Edward’s breadth of experience to our clients who we believe will benefit greatly from his background in these changing times,” said Philip Meade, principal of Davis Meade Property Consultants.

“In these unprecedented times the importance of well-considered professional advice is particularly relevant and I look forward to supporting rural businesses to help them realise opportunities that are available today as well as those developing in future markets,” Edward said.

“We are talking with clients over the phone and online and we are also offering web seminars on topical subject to keep people connected,” he added.

Edward can be contacted at the Oswestry office of DMPC on 01691 659658 or mobile 07496 914731 or email edwardpage@dmpcuk.com
