THE country united again on Thursday evening to show its appreciation for NHS staff and key workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
After last Thursday's first Clap For Our Carers, people in Oswestry and neighbouring villages took to their doorsteps for another minute of applause at 8pm last night (Thursday).
People showed their appreciation by clapping and banging saucepans to make noise, while emergency services congregated at Wrexham's Maelor Hospital and turned on their sirens while clapping.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service firefighters drove through parts of north Shropshire during the applause as well.
One house was lit up with NHS letters on its front next to a heart.
The Clap For Our Carers evenings are now set to take place every Thursday at 8pm.
