With the coronavirus outbreak dominating everyone’s lives, we asked our readers for pictures to show how your getting through the lockdown.

The government is asking that you stay home and if you need to go out, then it’s for essentials from the supermarket or to get your daily exercise.

And with schools closing to stop the spread of the virus, then it’s down to you to make sure your youngsters are getting the right work completed, whether that’s for art, crafts or working out with the nation’s PE teacher Joe Wicks.

It seems a full repertoire will be needed once the Easter holidays start, but with the charge of rainbows being produced to celebrate the NHS, then there’s plenty to do.

You can see here that youngsters in the area have been working hard, and these were just a handful of the many pictures we could have used from our Oswestry Advertizer Facebook post, so thank you very much for sending them in.

At the top of the page, rainbows are in order from Emily and Jessica Evans in Rhydycroesau, who showed their painting skills off at the family farm.

Alisha, Daniel and Ava Evans, in Oswestry, all came together for an art and crafts lesson, taking advantage of the beautiful weather last week.

Ashling Donohoe-Harrison’s children could still self-isolate in the garden with this mighty fortress, while Zak Evans got into the PE spirit with a work-out in front of the television with Mr Wicks.

And then we have Drew-Anna and Seb Hamilton, in Llanrhaeadr, who have decorated their tree with colourful ribbon.

Please head to our Facebook page to discover more pictures and we thank everyone for taking the time to send them in.
