THIEVES have been taking advantage of premises being closed and vulnerable during the coronavirus outbreak.
Police have urged business and hotel owners to be vigilant after two hotels in the Chester area were targeted in the early hours of Sunday (March 29).
The offenders are focussing on the spa, fitness and bar areas of the premises.
Police, Community Support Officer Wendy Leason said: "Please ensure that your security staff are aware of these recent incidents and review your current security of premises that are temporarily closed."
The incidents come after a break-in at the church of the Holy Trinity in Capenhurst the previous weekend.
