OSWESTRY Town Council has announced it is closing all-but-a-few of the stores inside the indoor market as the restrictions on public life take grip.
In an announcement this week, the council said that only three stores will be opening, while the rest of the outdoor markets will be closed until further notice.
Council officials are also asking people to only make trips to the remaining stores in absolute necessity.
A spokesman said: "With the exception of Dogz Dinnerz, Llyncyls Farm Shop and Vegan Goodies the rest of the Indoor Market will be temporarily closed.
"Public access will be restricted and we ask customers to only come if they need something desperately.
"All outdoor markets will also be closed until advised otherwise.
"Oswestry Market would like to thank all our customers and look forward to serving you all in the near future. Please stay safe."
