POLICE in north Shropshire have urged people to stay inside after dealing with a person in Weston Rhyn who they suspected to be in possession of drugs.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) confirmed it had dealt with a person acting suspicious in the area of Weston Rhyn at 1.55am on Wednesday.
The person was suspected to have been in possession of Class B drugs.
Meanwhile, SNT Inspector for north Shropshire, Tracy Ryan, has urged people to remain indoors both during the day and at night.
She posted on Twitter: “If you are out and about in broad daylight at the moment you are likely to get challenged, let alone lurking at night.”
