THE Movement Centre, which is based at the site of the Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen, says it is remaining open for patients with appointments.

In a post on its Facebook page, the centre – which provides specialist therapy for children – stated it will be hoping to honour as many appointments as possible for children who are able to visit.

Staff at the centre believe that because it is only visited by staff and patents, and is away from the rest of the hospital, they can still see children who have not come from an area or residence affected by symptoms of coronavirus.

"The Movement Centre is following current government guidelines and will remain open for patient appointments for the foreseeable future," said the post.

"We ask that there are no visitors other than patients and families.

“Please do not send any of your children (or yourselves) to sessions for the next 14 days if anyone living in your family home has a high temperature (37.8 or above) or a persistent cough.

"Please contact us to let us know if this is the case and you can’t make your appointment. Please note all staff able to work from home are doing so to minimise exposure in our building

"We have a separate building with parking directly outside.

"Our site is a free standing building on the edge of the RJAH hospital site, with its own parking, and is not visited by anyone other than patients and staff.

"Many thanks for your cooperation."
