THE MP for North Shropshire, Owen Paterson, has launched a volunteering scheme for people who wish to help during the coronavirus epidemic.
Mr Paterson has liaised with Shropshire council to launch the service, which will help put willing volunteers in touch with organisations that need them.
An online form has been launched on the MP's website, to allow people to streamline the process.
Mr Paterson says it is vital to work together during the epidemic.
"Coronavirus represents a very significant public health challenge that requires all of us as a community to pull together," said Mr Paterson.
"I am working as the MP with a range of local community organisations to try and make sure we work together effectively.
"If you are in need of assistance, please email me on patersono@parliament.uk and I will liaise with Shropshire Council to put you in touch with the help you need.
"If you would like to volunteer to help, please complete the form.
"We will share your details with local organisations looking for volunteers. Your details will not be used for any other purpose."
The form can be accessed at www.owenpaterson.org/coronavirus-volunteer-help
