WHITCHURCH Walkers will undertake two walks in the coming weeks.

On Saturday, February 29, the Whitchurch Walkers will meet at Sherry Mill Hill car park at the earlier time of 12.30pm and car share to meet the leaders at the start of the walk.

This six-and-a-half-mile walk will travel over gently undulating countryside on field paths and over cultivated land, quiet lanes and through woodland.

The walk will stop at the Masons Arms at Kemberton en-route.

Most stiles are dog friendly although a couple at the start would only accommodate small dogs.

Please bring suitable clothing, footwear and some refreshments.

Meanwhile on Sunday, March 8, the walkers will visit Beeston.

Meet at Sherry Mill Hill car park at 10am and car share to the start of the walk.

This nine-and-a-half-mile walk will start from the bottom of Bulkeley Hill and follow paths to Gap Lodge, Pennsylvania Wood and across fields to Beeston Castle where they will have lunch.

The walk will then return along paths and tracks.

There is one steep ascent and descent. Please bring suitable clothing, footwear, a packed lunch and some refreshments.
