More rain in parts of mid and south Wales could lead to further flooding in already "highly sensitive" areas, the Met Office has said.
Meteorologists say a spell of persistent, sometimes heavy rainfall is expected during Sunday morning.
A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office from 3am to 3pm on Sunday, February 23.
The warning remains around the rivers Wye, Usk and Taff where many people have already experienced flooding.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain which is expected to move from west to east across the south of the UK.
It said that 20 to 40 mm of rain is likely fairly widely, and a few spots in the Brecon Beacons could see 50 to 60mm.
As of Friday morning, there is one flood warning in the Lower Dee Valley from Llangollen to Trevalyn Meadows and three flood alerts in place along the Upper Dee Valley from Llanuwchllyn to Llangollen including Corwen, Upper Severn in Powys, and the Afon Vyrnwy, Afon Tanat and Afon Cain and their tributaries.
A yellow weather warning for rain is in place for Friday and Saturday in north-west Wales which includes the Machynlleth area.
The Met Office said persistent rain may lead to flooding and travel disruption during Friday and Friday night.
