Those behind the Oswestry Town Museum are looking for keen and enthusiastic people to help run things, as the museum looks to extending its opening hours to six days a week.
The museum is currently open three days a week, but the new volunteers would help to double this.
Responsibilities would include opening and closing the museum, meeting and greeting customers, taking part in projects, assisting with the annual Heritage Open Days, assisting with any other museum-led events, sharing own skills and experiences, and other general assisting where necessary.
A spokesperson said hours and jobs are negotiable and experience is not essential as full training will be given.

You can also visit the Oswestry Town Museum, which is based on the third floor of The Guildhall on the Bailey Head, and ask for Mark or Cass. The opening hours are Wednesdays and Fridays, 10am and 4pm, and Saturdays, 10am and 3.30pm.
