Road users in Gobowen are being urged to find an alternative route after a tree was felled during Storm Dennis.
Oswestry's Safer Neighbourhood Team has warned that a tree in Whittington Road, Gobowen, has fallen down in the high winds and rain of the storm, which arrived into north Shropshire shortly after 12.30pm.
The tree is believed to have fallen around 2-2.30pm and officers have closed the road, near Derwen College, until further notice and the debris is cleared away, but expect it to be for some time.
