A COMMUNITY group in Oswestry is running a special session to encourage socialisation through dancing.
Open Space Studios CIC, which is Arthur Street, has created a weekly social event to encourage individual to get socialising and moving.
The tea dance event runs from 12-2pm every Monday at the brand new space directly above Oswestry Library, by Chloe Yeomans and Ross Miller.
Chloe said: "During the sessions you will receive ballroom and Latin sequence lessons, a hot drink, social time and a raffle entry.
"We are professional dancers and teachers from the area."
Ross added: “It’s amazing how quickly we can see individuals grow with confidence each week, everyone is moving, social in hand having fun.”
If people would like to come along and not participate in the dances then you are welcome to just come along and watch.
Open Space Studios is a not for profit Community Interest Company developed to provide Oswestry with an affordable space and activities, while also providing initiative to reduce social isolation and loneliness.
Chloe added: "We encourage you to spread the word about of social tea dance every Monday to your family, friends and loved ones.
"This event is for everyone of all ages. Please come along and support."
