A community is rallying together to raise money for a family whose business was significantly damaged by a car collision last month.
Premier Stores in Llanwrtyd Wells was damaged after a silver Renault Clio collided with the building in the early hours of Friday, January 24.
The main road through the town was closed for five days while inspections were carried out on the shops structure.
Premier Stores has been closed for three weeks and it is expected to take months before it reopens again.
As a result, the Llanwrtyd Wells community have set up a fund for the Singh family who own the convenience store.
A collection box for people to show their support for the family is kept at the Llanwrtyd Wells Auto Services (LWAS) garage on Beulah Road.
Locals have praised the idea saying that it is “nice to show them that we care”.
Meanwhile, Dyfed-Powys Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for witnesses or anyone with information regarding the circumstances of the crash to come forward.
