Three Lower Sixth pupils from Oswestry School attended the annual Rotary Club of Oswestry International Dinner, held at the town’s Wynnstay Hotel.
A pleasant evening was spent chatting to the Rotarians over dinner and listening to speeches from pupils from local independent schools.
Ada, Sally, and Alexandru spoke confidently and fluently, and entertained and inspired with their talks on topics ranging from their experiences of studying in the UK and what they have learned, to how failure can make you a stronger, more determined individual.
They made a favourable impression and the group received many compliments on their excellent English and presentation skills.
The evening finished with a raffle and the pupils did not go away empty-handed.
They passed on their thanks the Rotary Club of Oswestry.
