Anyone wishing to learn or remember how to use potentially life-saving equipment can do so at Ellesmere Town Hall next week.
There is a free defibrillator training or refresher course which is being held at the Ellesmere Town Hall on Thursday, February 20 at 7pm.
Ellesmere mayor, Councillor Paul Goulbourne, believes that with the increasing number of defibrillators around the area, the session could prove important.
"Ellesmere has three defibrillators around the town, plus one in the Town Hall lobby and one at Criftins Village Hall," he said.
"So it is important that everyone knows how to use one, although the machine does give you verbal instructions, familiarity will help when the time comes to use one in earnest."
To book the session, head to www.eventbrite.co.uk and search 'Defibrillator Training/Refresher course'.
