PARENTS and toddlers have been enjoying the best Chirk Castle has to offer.

Throughout January and February, the castle is running Toddler Thursdays, specifically designated days for parents and their toddlers to enjoy the great outdoors within the castle’s surroundings.

Attendees were involved in more than just enjoying the surroundings, with the castle offering various fun activities.

Attendees wrapped up warm on Thursday, January 23, to enjoy various fun activities throughout the day, including muddy play, welly walks, scavenger hunts and outdoor crafts.

The castle say the sessions are all as child-led as possible, so the children are free to explore what interests them and what they enjoy.

There will be three more Toddler Thursday’s in February, with the castle holding an event for all ages over half term.

The castle will be holding various other events throughout February, including guided history tours, Nordic walking and ranger rambles.
