EMERGENCY services were called to a four-vehicle crash near Oswestry on Sunday.
The incident happened at around 2pm on Whittington roundabout.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service was called at 1.55pm with reports of a collision involving multiple saloon vehicles.
Firefighters ensured vehicles were made safe before an ambulance, which was not called to the incident, passed by and stopped to assist.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "One ambulance came across the incident – we were not called to the incident.
"Ambulance staff attended the incident which took place in the junction of the B4580 and the A5.
"Ambulance staff assessed one patient, a woman, at the scene. She was treated for minor injuries and discharged at the scene."
