After the success of its first year, Qube’s photography competition will be returning this year.
The open competition and exhibition which follows aims to celebrate photography.
Photographs will be exhibited between March 12 and April 28 at Qube in Oswald Road.
The competition is open to everyone to have a go, with a fee of £5 entry fee. The theme for the 2020 competition is Lines.
A £100 cash prize will awarded for the photograph which the independent panel of judges consider to be the best entry.
A £20 cash People’s Choice prize will awarded for the photograph with the most public votes.
This year, a category has been introduced for children under the age of 16. The winner will receive an Instax Mini 9 Camera.
Entry for under-16s is £2, with three entries per person allowed. Deadline for entries is Saturday, February 29.
