OSWESTRY residents and businesses have been warned by police about fake money being circulated around the town.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) posted picture of the counterfeit £50 notes which have been spotted in the area on their Twitter page.
The fake monies have the same serial number printed on them.
The SNT posted on Twitter: "Please be aware of these fake £50 notes be circulated around Oswestry and possibly surrounding areas.
"The serial number is AA106717. Don't be caught out."
