Welcome back to another double-helping of the Advertizer Bygones.

We’ve been rummaging through our archives to take a trip down memory lane and we’ve got some crackers for you.

As usual we’re not 100 per cent sure of the year, but we’re going to take a guess with the mid-1990s, mainly owing to the fantastic fashions on offer.

So our round-up includes, nurses from Chirk Hospital advertising the annual fun day, successful swimmers from Selattyn School, the late Alf Strange from The Brow, ladies at a summer fair at the Methodist Playgroup in Oswestry and a team preparing to head out for Operation Christmas Child.
