CONCERNS have been raised that another shop in Llandudno high street could potentially face closure.
According to the national press, greeting card chain Clintons is the latest retailer to seek concessions from high street landlords.
The Sunday Telegraph has seen restructuring documents which say: “Approximately 90 of the company’s stores are currently loss-making with the business forecasting that sales will continue to decline.”
Clintons have a store on 75 Mostyn Street.
It would be a devastating blow for the high street if it were to close. H Samuel closed in Septemberand Martin's kiosk, in the Victoria Centre, closed in October. Thomas Cook and Greenwoods have also shut.
A spokesperson for Clintons said: "Talks with our landlords are still ongoing but no decisions have been taken."
