A MAN died after being critically injured while trying to repair a forklift vehicle on the side of a main road, West Mercia Police have said.
Police were called to Letton to reports of a serious incident at the junction of the A438 and Kinley Lane at around 12.30pm on Friday, November 8.
The A438 at Letton was blocked between the A4111 junction and Letton Court while emergency services attended the scene.
The man, in his 40s, is believed to have sustained serious injuries following attempts to repair his forklift at the side of the road and died at the scene.
Police do not believe any other vehicles were involved at this stage.
Officers are appealing for witnesses, and anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident 318s 081119 Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
