WEST Mercia Police are appealing for information following an attempted burglary in Oswestry.

At around 6.30pm on Monday, November 4, a resident of Llwyn Road, Oswestry, came home to find two unknown people in her garden shed.

Both were hooded males wearing black clothing and believed to be in their late teens or early 20s.

Police say the pair ran off when disturbed and no thefts were reported. Incident number 0642s 041119.

And police are also looking for witnesses following an attempted break in in Oswestry.

A patio door at a house in Thornhurst Avenue, Oswestry, was attacked during the night between Tuesday, October 29 and Wednesday, October 30 in a suspected attempt to break in.

The offender or offenders were possibly disturbed shortly after midnight by the family dog. The door was damaged but there was no evidence of entry. Incident number 0264s 301019.

Police do not believe the two incidents are related and anyone with information is urged to ring 101, quoting the reference number provided.
