POLICE have carried out a successful drugs warrant at an address in Chirk.

North Wales Police (NWP) confirmed on Friday they had seized cannabis from an undisclosed address in Bron Y Waun.

NWP are yet to confirm whether any arrests were made in connection with the warrant.

A separate raid discovered drugs at an address in Pentre Broughton and an arrest was made in connection with a stolen Honda CBR motorbike.

Acting inspector for the force, Mike Norbury, has praised the public for supporting them.

“All of these warrants were made possible by information supplied by the public," he said.
