POLICE are appealing for information after receiving reports of cattle being purposely let out of a field in Gobowen.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team received the reports on Wednesday afternoon.
Cattle had been let out of a field in the Ebnal area of the village.
The padlock which was keeping the gate secure has been damaged.
Anyone with information about the incident is being asking to call 101 quoting reference number 0725S 291019.
