The success of the first exhibition of the Ceiriog Valley Art Group in the Oliver Jones Memorial Hall at Dolywern on October 26 and 27 was a clear reflection of the amount of local talent across the region.
More than 100 artworks were displayed from 30 artists, of which 26 were from the Ceiriog Valley itself.
Visitors were invited to vote for their favourite, with the winner being Rachel Maries for her rendering of Aberdyfi harbour.
Sales from paintings, refreshments, raffle and other items generated in excess of £200 for the support of the Oliver Jones Memorial Hall.
