Special half-term offer for children at the National Cycle Museum
The National Cycle Museum in Llandrindod Wells has a special offer for children during school half-term this autumn.
The museum is offering
free admission to a child with each paying adult during the two weeks – half-term has different dates in England and Wales - and there is a free car park for visitors at rear of building.
“Most children love riding a bicycle, so they will be fascinated to
visit the National Cycle Museum in the Automobile Palace, Llandrindod Wells,” said trustee and curator Freda Davies.
Free activities include a fun quiz, a draw your favourite
bike challenge and an opportunity to try out a new bicycle bells display.
Many amazing bicycles spanning 200 years of cycling and
a wealth of cycling memorabilia
are on display in the museum, which is open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Llandrindod Wells is an ideal destination for families
during half-term with a playground area and a lake with wildfowl, fountain and water beast within a few minutes’ walk of museum.
