A popular annual walk has raised more than £11,000 for cancer charities.
The Oswestry Round Challenge took place in June and gives fundraising walkers the chance to cover a 33-mile loop around the town over two days.
Organisers met recently to present cheques to Lingen Davies Cancer Fund and Cancer Research UK.
The £11,000 raised this year has been split between the charities.
The organisers said they would like to thank Borderland and Cambrian Rotary clubs for their support and all of the walkers, marshals and helpers at this year’s event.
Next year’s Oswestry Round Challenge takes place on Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7.
Details on how to register will be available soon on the ORC website at www.oswestryround.co.uk
