Oswestry Darts League’s season got underway with cup action which saw three 180s scored on an entertaining night.
Blake Stretford, Bryn Morris and Andy Pumford all achieved the highest score possible in their games, while Mark Owen (115 and 106), Charles Roberts (102) and Brian Whitley (100) all high-scored.
It was a successful evening for the sides of Three Pigeons A, Sports Bar and Green Inn A, who all progressed to the next round of the Oswestry and District Darts League Knockout Competition.
Three Pigeons A picked up a 6-3 win over Black Lion B, Green Inn A beat Top White Lion 6-3 and Sports Bar progressed to the next round with a 6-3 win over Three Pigeons B.
Griffin also picked up a 6-3 win in their game with Market Ellesmere.
There were 5-4 wins for Barley Mow and Black Lion A over Whittington Cricket Club and Railway Tavern, respectively.
The Hand Inn and Green Inn B received byes to the next round.
