THE providers of a vital service in Oswestry are seeking help from the public towards a new mini-bus.
Oswald Road-based charity, Qube, is urgently appealing for donations for its volunteer-led Dial-a-Ride service in order to be able to purchase a new minibus.
Dial-a-Ride is a door-to-door service for people without access to public transport or a car.
The service ensures that members can get to the shops, hairdressers or doctor and hospital appointments, among other things.
A notice now issued by the charity asking for help towards its £10,000 target, states that many people who use the service 'would not be able to leave the house without it' and that 'any donation at all, small or large' would be appreciated.
For more information, visit Qube's website www.qube-oca.org.uk where you can watch a video of service users who rely on the service telling their stories.
You can also donate on the charity's Just Giving page www.justgiving.com/campaign/buy-us-a-bus
