The head coach of the English national rugby team is heading to Oswestry in the aftermath of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Eddie Jones, who has been in the job since 2015, will be at the Lion Quays Hotel on November 19, for an event presented by Booka Bookshop to talk about his new book, My Life and Rugby.

In the book, Jones talks about life growing up in Sydney before becoming a professional player and eventually a coach.

Jones has enjoyed plenty of success during his time as England boss – he led the side to back-to-back Six Nations wins, delivered their first grand slam in many years and guided the team long their longest winning streak ever.

He is currently with the side in Tokyo for the World Cup, where he will hope to lead England to another triumph and claim more silverware.

Tickets for the event cost £20, and are available from Booka Bookshop, or online at www.bookabookshop.co.uk/events/an-evening-with-eddie-jones/

Doors will open at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start.
